Dr. Ryan Hawkins was born and raised in Amherstburg, Ontario and completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours) at the University of Windsor, majoring in Movement Science. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2015. Dr. Hawkins is an acupuncture provider and can perform golf specific movement screening via the Titleist Performance Institue. His special interest include sports injury rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Dr. Hawkins has always been active in the community and has played a variety of sports throughout his life. He ran the Detroit Free Press Marathon in 2009 and currently maintains an active lifestyle by going to the gym regularly and by playing hockey, golf, softball and soccer. Dr. Hawkins has coached many teams and participated in several intramural and competitive sports leagues throughout his time in school and after. He and his wife Jillian are proud parents of their daughter Madison and they love to travel and spend time with family.
Dr. Hawkins utilizes an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to improve physical health. He believes that education and exercise are key to overall health.
